Addressing the vulnerability: Opinion article in Hindu on Jan 1

The editor has expressed concern about air travels and the relevant security scrutiny. But, in another perspective it’s obviously clear that the editor has feared the over powering of terrorists over all security measures, evading all security block and getting on to their assault more successfully.

Editor here, has listed three incidents a, the Nigerian terrorist utilizing PETN (pentaerythritol); b, The shoe bombing in 2001, after which all passengers were made to remove their shoes and sending it for scanning and at last c, the chemical bombing threat.

All these incidents were vivid examples for the terrorists overpower to evade security measures. My doubt is that, whenever a terrorist attack takes place either successful or failed attempt, authorities are forced to think of measures that can be taken to prevent such attacks in future. This clearly shows that, it’s not that terrorists are learning from authorities, but, it is the power hub (authorities) who are learning from the terrorists.

The situation now showcases that terrorist organization are getting full scale technology tutor when most of our kiths and kin below poverty line are turning into pick pockets because of unreachable education…..

A pathetic situation which needs immediate attention….
